Pros

I was made to feel very welcome from day one of joining. The support from colleagues at all levels was excellent. Individuals took the time to explain the intricacies of the society. As a senior member of staff I was also fully supported by other senior leaders during the early days of joining. I found the society friendly and open, with a much more inclusive culture than I had previously experienced at large plc's. There is no lack of opportunity to learn for individuals who want to. The Head Office work environment is light, open and airy with only a small number of individuals having offices,

Cons

Being a mid-size society at certain career levels there will always be the challenge of opportunities to either move up or sideways. At times deadlines can get squeezed as there is a reliance on few key individuals.

Pros

HRBS' work culture is unmatched. I personally have never experienced a working environment like the one at head office. when I started I was met with such a friendly welcome! HRBS have also introduced a development hour to develop cross-skills or shadow a different department which is a definite pro.

Cons

No significant Cons at this time, any challenges are typic al of a fast-paced customer service environment.

Pros

I have worked at HRBS for 6 months now and it is a great organisation to work for. The people are so supportive, friendly and everyone works as one team. The values are not just words, they are lived and this is really important to me. Career progression, learning and development is available and is actively encouraged and supported together with Volunteering to support the community.

Cons

I can not think of anything.
