Pros
So, I’ve been at Hinge Marketing for a year. I’ve officially “survived.” LOL! I’m kidding. I have ALWAYS said, you never know a “job” or know the people you work with until you’ve spent a year rubbing elbows down in the thick of it. So, what have I learned?
I’ve seen a team that CARES from the top down. I’ve seen a CEO and partnership team that adds value for their employees - we’ve had extra days off this year, 401ks added, employee cross training, digital programs to enhance our time/task management, and pretty much anything else we’ve asked for on the ground level - we’ve gotten (IF we can make a case for it – which is yet ANOTHER program we’ve implemented this year!)
No one is critical or harsh to new ideas. Matter of a fact, new ideas are welcomed.
I have also witnessed a lot of employee advancement opportunities within Hinge. If you are willing to start a project and see it through to completion, your efforts will be rewarded.
This is a start up culture if you’re willing to put in the effort. You can learn from others. You just have to be willing to put in the extra time to see things through.
Cons
Criticism is hard for me. I'll say that abandoning new ideas too quickly might be a struggle for Hinge. Time will tell. Like I said, you never know until you stay the course of time and I'm not done yet. I love the people too much!
