Pros

They paid above minimum wage during a time when many companies were not hiring. They put quite a bit of effort into training me.

Cons

I worked there during the Covid lockdown. When the first employee got Covid, they refused to close contact any other employees, instead saying they reviewed the security footage to see if he got close enough to contact anyone. I got in trouble several times for cleaning my workstation because I was not using the correct cleaner but they also refused to give me the correct cleaner so I could clean appropriately even when I argued that I was in high contact job as a cashier. In general, their compliance to Covid protocols was all for show rather than actually considering the health and safety of their employees.

- Store is always closed on Sundays

Cons

- Store doesn't have scanners so ringing up customers takes longer - Store doesn't have good systems in place to make workflow more efficient
