Pros
The pay was steady, and I made as much as they said they would provide. You don't necessarily need experience to work here, however I was told my background in baked goods helped in my hiring process. Everyone is trained from the ground up.
Cons
The owner is the biggest con, as he is extremely verbally abusive to his employees. He has little patience and assumes the worst of your intentions, often resorting to yelling both in front of customers and after work hours over phone calls or text. Breaks were not provided despite shifts being 6+ hours long and there was never a second employee on location to help with busy hours. My coworkers who were students had their schedules disrespected despite being promised flexible hours. Management is very unorganized and will often gossip about you, other employees, and each other. Additionally, at the location I worked at there were no cameras pointing at the register or front of the house. The store hours go late into the night and I often felt very unsafe, as there was no door or block on the entrance to the back of the house.
