Pros
When I worked under the leadership of Stein Kruse & Orland Ashford they cared about their employees. They made a point of connecting with as many of their employees as possible and made a great job of showing an interest in every role and every individual (although they really didn't but for a brief moment every employee felt special and valued). I was very proud to represent Holland America Line!
Cons
Now...? Gus who? Tearing the brand apart! Treating loyal employees like dust, forgetting trade partners and generally tearing down the brand. Such a shame as what was once an amazing product is now NOT front of mind for travel advisors.
