      Pros

      -Friendly staff, family like atmosphere. You spend so much time with your fellow interns they become your friends. -Definitely looks good on a resume and you get hands on experience. -Many people I interned with got jobs at local news stations so it's a good place to make connections.

      Cons

      -Very little feedback on news packages as well as communication between management and interns in general. I came in with no experience and I left with a demo reel that looked like absolute crap. -They say you need to work a minimum of 20 hours a week but don't be surprised if you need at least 50 to complete your assignments, no exaggeration.

      Pros

      direct supervision, lots of freedom, close knit team, opportunities to grow, earn credit for your time working, contract lays out duties directly

      Cons

      the time you spend there will be more than you are required, the more time you put in though the more you get out of it, it takes awhile to move up to paid intern
