Pros

I’ve been here almost six years and have seen the company and direction change so much for the better. This was my first job out of college and not only have I learned so much, but years later I continue to learn and find new challenges that keep me excited to come into the office every day. Senior management cares about nurturing talent and development and have given me a lot of flexibility and support to redefine my role and grow with the company. We’re somewhere between a start up feel and a mature, stable company (not super corporate at all). You’ll have to respect the company structure and team processes in place, but there’s a ton of autonomy and flexibility to test your ideas and work on projects you feel really passionate about. The culture and the people are great too – very fun and collaborative and work-life balance is very good.

Cons

Salary could be more competitive

Pros

CEO is laser focused on the success of the company. Every one on the team is a self-starter and committed to adding the most value possible. The ability to work from home is a great perk

Cons

We are very lean, therefore, there are times where we are unable to take on as many projects as we would like.

Pros

The people are great. Everyone was extremely helpful when I first started and was asking hundreds of questions. There's a lot of potential to have a significant impact on the direction of the company. Management does a good job of listening and supporting new ideas. The work/life balance is excellent. Need to step out for a doctor's appointment? No problem. Need to work from home because you're getting furniture delivered? Sounds good. Would you rather be the type of person that gets in at 6 and leaves at 3? Go for it. There's a three-day prototype period every couple of weeks that allows you the freedom to work on any pet projects you've been bouncing around in your head. There's a kegerator with two taps that always has good beer. It's the place to post up at the end of the week.

Cons

Like in pretty much all companies that get to HomeFinder's size there tend to be silos. The kegerator in the kitchen helps break those down but some still remain. Sometimes you can get bogged down with unnecessary meetings but that's pretty much all companies.
