Pros

Installers do a great job and friendly co workers

Cons

Everything. There have been 30 + sales reps that have all quit or been fired in last 5 years. You get paid half commission up front and the other half after job is completed. Only problem is that you will never see that back end portion because each job takes minimum 6 months to even start. Management is a joke and the leader is a man child and reminds everyone that you are replaceable. Run Run Run away!

Thank you for providing your feedback. HomeWerks does not take lite in providing a positive work environment for our employees. You are correct that full-cycle project scopes in the construction industry can be a lengthy and is the norm. Based on the tenure you provided in this review; I am certain that you received your back-end commission. I am not certain where you received the stats on the number of sales Reps employed with HomeWerks, however, we have never had more than three Sales Reps at any given time. I am sorry that your experience at HomeWerks did not meet your expectations. I wish you much luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

Great co-workers and our installers did really nice work.

Cons

Management has no idea how to run a business and treats their employees like human garbage. We were once told in a company meeting that " we are all replaceable and if one person messes up we all loose". As a sales person, if I did my job correctly by measuring and pricing everything out correctly, but then production missed something in the field or our procurement agent ordered something wrong, my commission would be reduced. I don't ever remember sharing in the profits of the company and I sold over a million dollars in projects in under a year! Everyone in the company were also given written warnings for things like insubordination or not hitting ridiculous goals. If you look at the history of sales employees there have been many of the years. I believe something like 30 + over the last 5 years. Most people did not make it past 2 years. I worked there for over a year. We would be paid our commission 1/2 up front and the other 50% once the job was completed. Most projects took 6+ months for the work to start. in my time with the company I was only paid out on 3 jobs. this basically means I worked for only half commission because Homewerks gets to keep all of your back end commission if you quit or are terminated. Is this a coincidence? You be the judge. I wish I would have read something like this before working for this awful company.

We appreciate your feedback on your work experience at HomeWerks. You are correct, every member of our team (Sales to Design to Production) plays an important role in the success of our company. Communication and quality handoff checks are needed within the project scope to ensure a positive customer experience which may lead to repeat business. Client issues within any part of the project scope impact the entire team. HomeWerks appreciates the million dollar of sales your provided and I am confident that our compensation package rewarded you with a lucrative earning potential. We wish you continued luck in your career path.
