Pros
The insurance benefits were good. The support I got from other teachers was great, a blessing sent from God.
Cons
Contract did not state where I would teach, what I would teach, or for how much, just how I could mess up and be dismissed. That was my heads up that the year would be difficult. For all the upfront "training", nothing was helpful. I was expected to do everything perfectly the first time on one hand, but give the administration the benefit of the doubt for all their mistakes and less than timely work.
