Pros
It's a job when you need one..
Cons
My boss hardly speaks English. Working through lunch break, but not being paid for it.. even though I don't take any breaks, they are taking 30 minutes off my check for everyday.. so I'm not being paid for time I'm working... No matter how hard you work, the housekeeping supervisor isn't satisfied.. if you do 20 rooms in 8 hours, she wants to know why you didn't do 10 more.. they are poorly understaffed in housekeeping, yet aren't hiring more housekeepers.. they only schedule 4 employees for 3 floors of hotel rooms.. My first day of training, another employee left the same sheets and pillow cases on the bed, this was on a check-out... (so another person slept on someone else's dirty sheets..) because she was out of time and had to get the rooms done or she wasn't allowed to leave..
