Tips are great and some nice staff Free food on shift.

Long hours, rotas are out really late so you can’t plan ahead as you might not know until Friday what your shifts next week are. You have to ask customers to leave a lot because there time is up even if there are other free tables. Some managers won’t let them stay for more drinks or desserts because they’ve had 90 mins and they tell you they have to leave. Some managers will blame you for mistakes you didn’t make. Job adverts say you get a personal development plan- this isn’t true. There’s no where to progress to even if there was. They make promises of pay rises but don’t follow through Staff turnover is so high- job adverts says most of the team have been there over 3 years. I didn’t know any floor staff who had been there that long. If you have a medical condition that they didn’t ask about and you are sick because of it they will accuse you of being on drugs or out drinking- no compassion. They don’t follow procedures or rules- you might show up for a shift and be fired with no warning and not given a reason. No staff night out- again another job advert lie

Avoid.. Horrible management, toxic environment. They just fire you without any warning. Managers are putting unnecessary stress on you during service, they are often quite patronising and speak down to you. Would not recommend, there are better places to work for in Edinburgh.
