Pros
If you like a Non-Learning organization you will be fine. The business was completely HQ driven! Ran out of Düsseldorf, Germany which none of the European Senior Leaders could relate market trends - loosing control of European sales area. The "Pros" in this case is having a complete understanding of how they do business and then distance yourself from them.
Cons
Everything you could think is backward, it is... you might think 80% discount is a great deal, but it's only 20% the way they convert discounts from HQ. Non-learning organization - Example no postmortems (no one wants you to find out it was Horse Racing). Horse Racing - Where HQ sales teams are given lower discounts to steal European sales away! In which case the customer would receive 2 or 3 different Huawei sales teams giving 3-4 different quotes. A European quote and potentially 2 or 3 others that are also "Horse Racing" in HQ. Internal competition, try explaining why your customer received 4 quotes from your organization! Many more reason to keep them out of the US. Don't let it happen. I should write a book on this...
