Pros
The workflows are so rigid that at least they require very little thought. Bad in itself as that is, at least it makes for a relatively simple, though boring, day.
Cons
Culture of secrecy, distrust and suspicion. Titles are bestowed, but seem to come with no power to change anything for the better, since decision-making is apparently only allowed at the top levels. Employees aren't even empowered to manage their own time (treat people like monkeys, they will have their revenge on you by acting like monkeys). Meetings are held, but little participation in the company's destiny is evident. Reward system is bizarre (I once saw an employee being rewarded for working overtime once while another group of employees was forced to do it almost every day with no compensation whatsoever).
