Pros

The people are the best product.

Cons

Things have changed during COVID. This company was created by the parent Ownership / Development Group, Vision Hospitaliy Group. Since it’s unveiling in April 2021, it hasn’t made much sense in Culture, Benefits, Bonus Structure or top down communication.

Pros

Little to no micromanaging. Relaxed attendance policy due to the inability to aquire staff.

Cons

I find it hard to choose where to start. Hourly employees are paid an insulting low wage which means good luck keeping or aquiring a decent staff. You get what you pay for. I once saw an individual in senior management phisically assault an hourly employee while visiting another location whilst I was incognito. From my understanding that individual was later (not immediately) fired. Upper management regularly drinks to the point of heavy intoxication at multiple locations which creates an awkward and sometimes inappropriate work culture. Many locations are in disrepair. Even when a department is very profitable you might get 2% of profits reinvested (this was pre-covid even!!) The skeleton crews that run properties are rarely able to use PTO if at all before the company erases them. The inside workings of business ethics are disturbing to say the least. Some of it is too inappropriate to post here.
