Pros
Inspection department are great to work with and to be honest most of the staff were ok.Wages are good and if it was the same 2 guys on a machine that cut down on non productive time a lot but I could not see the advantage of being moved from one m/c to another.I remember the gaffer did not like this when he was on the machines.
Cons
Only as good as your last shift-management seem to forget that the hard work done by others years ago means it must have been easy.More interested in making sure factory is spotless-rather than getting test pieces,tooling,jaws,bungs organised before job comes into shop.Forgot to mention that if you are mates with gaffer you can get off with murder.
