Cons
The CEO is hands down the worst micromanager I have ever, and I mean ever, worked for - and I've worked for some real crackers in my time. Everyone in the company seems to be on a disciplinary or personal improvement plan, I really don't know how HR keep up with it. If you are going for a role within 2 - 3 direct reports from the CEO, you WILL set him off, guaranteed, and it will be sooner rather than later, and it will be for something minor. He will then go after you with every ounce of HR in the company. Emails will fly, you'll get shouted at in meetings, and the disciplinaries will follow. Most of the team I was in have all happily quit, even if they had no job to go to. I have never posted a glassdoor review before, but feel for any fellow workers tempted to join HyperionDev- do not under any circumstances leave a steady job in a vaguely normal work environment to come here, especially if there aren't too many layers between you and Riaz the CEO. Please.
