      Pros

      It’s a union that cares. It’s fun work. It has excellent workplace culture. Very rewarding work.

      Cons

      There’s a possibility for inconsistent work , if there’s no events or theatrics then there’s no work. I would personally say that this type of job can be perfect for students.

      Highly flexible schedule (you get to pick your shifts to an extend, and will never be required to come in when you haven't requested to work that day) Very good and supportive culture Low barrier to entry Strong safety culture Good pay

      Cons

      Work is inconsistent outside of summer Work is scheduled at most a week in advance Seniority system means advancement is slow
