Pros

The company has a relaxed environment which makes it great for kids right out of college. It is a good transition job into the real world. Good work life balance

Cons

Icon has a complete lack of professionalism and maturity. Management is completely out of touch with the day to day work of their employees. They are stuck in the 80s and refuse to grow with the industry. No laptops, no option to work from home. If there is inclement weather, you are expected to come into the office or take a personal day. Their promotions are not based on merit but rather if you completed the process correctly. This “process” consists of essentially meeting with management to beg for a promotion. Worst of all is the toxic environment. The conversations I overheard were completely inappropriate for an office. It starts from the top management with supervisors making sexual comments in work meetings and trickles down to associates calling their superiors degrading names. Steer clear of this company. You'll end up just a number in an inappropriate and unprofessional environment.

Pros

fun media events, occasional lunches, work/life balance is decent

Cons

Salary is insulting and growth is stagnant, managers and leadership who throw tantrums (i.e. screaming, storming off, dismissing employees, sending attacking messages) without consequence, instances of very inappropriate relationships and conversation in the workplace, and the place is a rumor mill. Derogatory comments and sexual conversations/relationships shouldn’t be happening at all, let alone stemming from leadership. Unsure if HR is really just that oblivious or if a blind eye is turned, but with the amount I’ve witnessed in just a short period of time, I can’t imagine what else goes on here.
