They don't appreciate their employees - HR likes to think that giving everyone a mini-sized cookie once a year equates to going above and beyond recognizing employee appreciation, nope. We have noticed that you have also downsized from regular cookies to the sample sizes. Also, this place absolutely sucks at team building. It is built into the yearly budget and yet you will do a single team building activity in a couple of years because no one pays attention or cares.
Upper Management - Not involved, they like to overwork people but underpay and do not recognize good workers. They don't even know what most of their employees are doing majority of the time.
Pay/Salary - Under market pay for being overworked.
Human Resources - Normally, HR is supposed to be advocates for employees. Not here. They work and prioritize upper management and higher ups. They don't help you with anything, they are all talk and no action.
