Pros

Strong autonomy for individual businesses and units. Tries to do a lot of employee engagement. Good connection to marketing. Strives for intimacy with customers.

Cons

Buying and acquiring larger companies; management is still trying to catch up with who they are as a bigger company now. Limited internal growth opportunities until things stabilize. Good aspirations and engagement; uncertain how or what will be implemented with recent merge with DuPont Nutrition and Bioscience business. Took 4+ months to do initial organization development post merge; even with 2+ years to plan. Moral is mixed because of this. Big turn over of high level leadership over last couple years leading to merger of IFF with DuPont N&B. Potential to be good company to work after "dust settles". Assuming won't be for a while based on organization and structure moves so far.
