Pros

Pantry with lots of snacks and beer on tap, lol.

Cons

Was a great company to work for until recently. Too much internal politics these days with not so great leadership. Some of the leadership appear to focus on the growth of themselves rather than the company. Pretends to be a technology company but behaves like a marketing company focusing on short term benefits. Haven't seen many people who had career growth, with one or two exceptions - think.

Thank you for the feedback and while it is of course difficult to read, it is extremely valuable in helping us put in places changes to ensure that no one else has the same experience that you have had. While the long term is a vision that is communicated regularly, it is also vital that we remain rooted in the short term, to ensure we, as a company can hit that long term. With the amount the business has changed since its inception four years ago, I understand the challenges in holding a long tenure in such a rapidly changing environment and would appreciate the chance to learn how I could of handled it better so can learn from this experience. Again, I apologise that this hasnt been the experience that you were hoping for and hope you are able to reach out so I am able to remedy the situation as we continue to grow Thanks, Will

Pros

Great talented coworkers. Beer tap. Lunches. Free coffee at local cafe

Cons

Microservice architecture was somewhat busted. Whole compute instances for services rather than K8s, very limited ability to easily scale. Rewriting whole services in Golang rather than adding features onto the existing Python platforms. Sucked to work there if you were in AI as the AI team were reprimanded if they so much as innovated a solution of their own (even after hours) rather than follow the roadmap on one person.
