Pros
Good job security as there always seems to be work that needs to be done. Less structured team means lots of freedom to implement solutions as you see fit. This also creates opportunities for you to learn a lot (on your own) and incorporate what you find into your projects. Fully remote position.
Cons
Department could be more involved with each other. 99% of the work is done independently so you get less interaction with colleagues/help. Dev department is less structured and doesn't follow modern software development methodologies (Agile.) No test driven development either. Just release updates and check functionality on production server and hope for the best.
