Pros

I have to say the CFO is hands down the most genuine person you'll ever meet. So if you want to be a bookkeeper this is the place for you If you are willing to work hard and long project hours you will be promoted quickly and you will continue to move up the pay scale. (no brainer) This company is MVP-Gold and in order to maintain this status they have to have a certain number of employees with Enterprise certs, this is a win for you as they will pay you for each one. I recommend only working here if you are starting out and want an opportunity to work across many technologies in different environments and then get out as soon as you can.

Cons

-compensation use to be terrific they had great base pay and a pretty good bonus scale. This is no longer the case they raised the base pay but still expect you to work in the 130% or without extra compensation. -this company will encourage you to lower your moral standards, try your best to keep yours high. -When you a bill a client and there is any sort of grievance the money is taken from you personally, the company will not protect you. -Before decided to leave the company make sure you read EVERYTHING you signed as Dan Hay is very sue happy and has zero morals, he will come after you if he thinks he has a .001% chance of gain. Small dog, loud bark.

Just a few clarifications: - The company never has expected an employee to pay for a 'customer grievance'. That is simply a false statement. - We did indeed used to have a bonus program, but changed to a 'pay for performance' standard that moved up base pay based on performance, which we did in response to employee feedback. As a company, we strive to keep employee utilization between 70-75%, where we believe we can achieve good scale and remain very reasonable in terms of work life balance. We could not retain great people if we expected 130% utilization, nor could they provide quality service. Thank you for the opportunity to clarify!

Pros

Fair, honest, and fun working environment. Truly great leadership all the way up, despite the odds of that. Very accessible career growth potential and expectations. Transparent pay bands and requirements. Supportive and kind HR department.

Cons

There were times where teams would have infighting, but there was an effort made to improve cohesion and morale.

Pros

Good people and some really talented engineers Most employees genuinely care about clients and want to do good work Exposure to a lot of different technologies and environments Plenty of opportunities to learn because there is always something going on

Cons

Constant reorgs and changing priorities Leadership is reactive and impulsive and the employees have to absorb it Feels like the company is always reacting instead of planning ahead Same problems come up over and over without really getting fixed Lack of accountability from leadership Low trust between employees and leadership Too many decisions made without enough input from the people doing the work Communication is inconsistent and depends heavily on your manager Can feel chaotic and reactive the majority of the time Strong culture of finger pointing and blaming
