Pros
So I have initially joined IT search to work as a part time resource whilst working towards a career change into IT. With that, the company provided me with as much time off as was required for studies and exams.
The level of autonomy within the business is second to none, there's no crazy targets or KPI's and people are supported through various means to reach and exceed their targets.
There is a strong level of positivity within the business driven by the management, this makes the company very enjoyable to work for. There is little or no pressure put on employees, who are trusted to perform to their best ability.
Great team spirit and and a very friendly atmosphere within the team. They really practice the "we are in this together mindset" where the team helps each other out a lot. Cross selling between the different companies within vertical markets is also very strong.
Strong foundations are there for consultants to make a lot of money. You have all the necessary tools and are encouraged to get yourself out there to meet clients and candidates. The company also boasts a large amount of clients both in Ireland and abroad often making the roles a very easy sell in a highly competitive market.
Salaries are also very strong within the business along with commission and benefits. The desks are also very busy across various IT verticals, so definitely a lot of opportunities for commission.
Cons
Not much to say in terms of the cons, I really enjoyed my time with the company and would recommend it to anyone seeking a move or start a career in recruitment.
