Pros
Great & chill co-workers & superior in the Singapore office. Excellent teamwork.
Cons
Decision making is slow. Instructions and decisions comes from the management team in HK. Micro-management is prevalent. HK Management is always making last min changes without engaging with stuff. Global Retrenchment exercises were executed unprofessionally. Entire HK C suite team all didn’t show up on ‘Execution Day’here in HK on 30/9. All getting high pay in their cushy office but no guts and balls to show up. What a joke! The Boss then had a hasty10 min 3 slides meeting online to explain the rationale after ‘Execution’ was over. Looks like this is the company’s practice every few years , akin to ‘Survivor’ game show to keep the best talents in office. People are simply replaceable. Disgusting. No retrenchment benefits apparently. Managers who hire and fire seems to be void of accountability for the hefty hiring costs? Senior managers seems to be able to get away by doing nothing in this company in HK. Processes and decision making is slow and a lot of arguments back and forth. As a result deals are lost. Things are not done. Co is unstable. Payday is never fixed and I always receive my pay the next month. Management is autocratic. Avoid at all cost. Co is now being sued. Join at your own risk
