Pros

-You get a salary. -You can park for free. -You get free fruit, although sometimes it is very mouldy so I would watch out. It is pretty symbolic of the level of care here.

Cons

-Be careful with being misled by the perk listing as 'competitive'. A pension scheme is not a gift, it is a legal requirement. What is advertised as 'competitive perks' are essentially the legal statutory minimums required to operate a business. -Do not be fooled by the outdated reviews and feedback either. It is common for employees to go their entire tenure without being asked to complete a single formal review or feedback session. I have left it until now to submit a review due to new information I have received which was the last straw. Potential and current employees deserve to know the disgusting treatment of working at ITVET! -The office culture is horrible. It feels very much like a high school drama where people talk behind each other's backs rather than collaborating. Trust is non-existent. -There are too many managers trying to justify their role, resulting in obsessive micromanagement. You cannot breathe without three different managers analysing your metrics. It is purely performative with no impactful contribution. -The workplace is a monoculture with a complete lack of diversity in background or thought. If you do not fit a specific demographic, you are treated as an outsider. -There is a distinct lack of respect for younger employees. Instead of mentorship and guidance, they are frequently met with condescension and belittling treatment. It is a demoralising environment for anyone looking to build their confidence or career. -The company claims to be ‘expanding’, but service quality has plummeted. Long-term customers are treated like second-class citizens. They have forgotten the clients who built them up. -The disconnect between the Service Desk and Client Relationship Managers is shocking. CRMs appear unfriendly, arrogant, and completely disinterested in the actual health of their clients' IT systems. Once the contract is signed, they disappear. The Service Desk agents are frequently left to deal with angry, neglected clients because they are rarely available unless there is an upsell opportunity.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t reflect the positive and supportive culture we work hard to maintain. For context, our most recent anonymous teammate feedback survey took place in October 2025, where we achieved a 47 eNPS score - significantly above both UK and Tech industry benchmarks. We were also proud to be recognised as the 12th Best Workplace for all Medium Businesses and the 19th Best Workplace for Development in last year’s Great Place to Work Awards. Because the survey was fully anonymous and included all teammates, we would typically expect concerns of the kind you’ve raised to be reflected in those results. The overwhelmingly positive feedback suggests that, overall, our team feels supported and satisfied - though we fully acknowledge that individual experiences can differ. We welcome open and honest conversations, and we encourage any current or former teammates to reach out directly so we can better understand their experience and continue improving. Our dedicated Teammate Experience and Wellbeing teams work hard to ensure everyone feels supported, recognised, and fairly treated while at work.

Pros

I’ve worked at ITVET for 7 years, and it’s been incredible to witness the company’s journey and growth. The people truly are at the heart of everything we do. Everyone is approachable, friendly, kind, and supportive—not just fellow teammates, but the management team and directors as well. There’s a genuine focus on continuous improvement and moving the business forward, and your ideas and opinions are always welcomed. You’re trusted to do your job, recognised for your hard work, and supported with great benefits. As a part-time employee, I especially value the flexibility and support around working arrangements. Having worked in previous companies where you were lucky to get a kettle and a few tea bags, being offered fully equipped kitchen facilities with a variety of breakfast and lunch options still blows me away. The leadership team is genuinely committed to creating the best possible working environment and culture. I honestly can’t imagine working anywhere else.

Cons

No company is perfect, and I think it’s important to keep that in mind. One potential drawback for some—though a positive for others—is that ITVET is a fast-paced environment. The company is constantly evolving to stay ahead in the IT space, which means change is ongoing. If you’re not willing to put in the effort, it may not be the right fit. At times, the pace and level of change can feel overwhelming, but that’s also what drives progress. After all, standing still doesn’t get you anywhere.
