Pros
Good colleagues, good sharing culture
Cons
Employer was harsh with words, not for you if you are not mentally strong
Pros
- Overall good firm. - Team Leaders / Colleagues are really helpful and friendly. One team leader especially, carries a lot of weight on their shoulder, but is a great mentor for all. - Cozy office environment, high maintenance for all’s enjoyment, fishes and plants create homely atmosphere - Guided well, structure for staff training - Pinup critique before submissions (opportunity for learning for everyone), aims and goals are transparent, straight forward - Weekly planner allows for transparency, discussion between all staff, breaks down workflow, easier distribution of tasks - Events, welfare, appreciation - Open architectural discussions
Cons
- Employees do not stay long. - Employer makes employees feel undervalued, if he ‘does a simple job (or anything) himself’ (especially during a time with low manpower). Employees should feel better motivated by his aid and leadership, and not feeling like they were never doing enough. - Employees feeling the top down approach strongly, and tries to manage everything silently and well, so the boss does not criticise them. A lot of tiptoeing to not be at the receiving end of any comments. - Critiques are necessary, and well done but may need a bim manager for larger projects, as employees have enough load on their backs. Are expected to keep BIM files in tiptop condition, to achieve good drawings
