Pros

The team was fantastic to work with. Everyone clearly knew what they were doing. Everyone was always willing to jump on a call to explain something or show you something. Talking things through was always accepted and appreciated. They gave incentives. Had benefits and nice computers. They were initially open to feedback and suggestions.

Cons

There was a lack of direction and vision for the role I was placed in. I was placed under two different managers trying to get my position to be where it needed to be. There was a lack of organization and structure and no processes in place. Everything was just done, and that was it. There was no double-checking or reading over, and the managers were usually too busy to do work to give the final go. The CEO did not know how to run the business from a marketing standpoint. There was no vision or voice of the company, and it was just floating in the wind. The company took on the look and feel of whoever the client was, not boasting about the great work IXIS was doing. They did not put their name on anything and were afraid to show it.

Pros

The company is growing and the leadership is making every effort to take care of their people and provide them was challenging and rewarding positions. I really clicked with the CEO and her leadership team and think they have some really exciting opportunities within the company.

Cons

Due to covid there was a lot of remote work and I wanted more interaction but that was no fault of the company itself.

Pros

As someone coming into a more non-technical role, it can be overwhelming to not only get used to a new field but all of the different projects that are going on. All of the team members, including upper management and CEO, are incredibly friendly and supportive. A very lighthearted group with a great work ethic! Management also doesn't micromanage, which is a huge plus. The benefits are good and the work environment is very accommodating! I live close to the office so I'm able to work a hybrid schedule, and the work hours are flexible within reason (as long as you're making your hours/attending meetings). PTO is also generous and it's easy to coordinate travel plans with time off/remote work/flexible hours.

Cons

With more than half of the team members working out of state, there's not a strong company "culture", especially coming out of a pandemic when many of the local people weren't coming into the office often. Despite that, it's still easy to connect with other remote team members and build rapport with them. There are also concrete plans to significantly improve the office experience for the quickly growing list of team members, so there are active measures being taken to change this "con".
