Pros

There are a lot of opportunities to improve the products. Nice office.

Cons

Office policies are either minimum required by law or less. I learned the term "black company" while researching the legality of many things going on in this company. You have to know Japanese labor law, because the company won't tell you your rights (also it seems like they don't even know the law), there is no HR department. Everything has to be done as the director says, if you want your voice to be heard you will have a hard time. Management is top-down only with almost no opportunities to be creative. You are basically forced to do overtime, wether it is necessary or not. You can be praised one day for doing an extremely good job, but if you do the smallest mistake, management will turn against you. Salary raises are very low no matter how good of a job you have done. Most people stay less than a year, but management is not concerned since "everybody can be replaced".

Pros

The workload’s pretty reasonable, and work-life balance is great with WFH options. Managers are easy to talk to, and the open communication makes work a lot smoother. Overall, it’s a relaxed but productive vibe.

Cons

During busy seasons, you’ll need to put in some extra hours.

Pros

- Hybrid - better WLB than most startups - consistent company outing and company dinner every year - Opportunities to collaborate with international teams and creators - Fast-paced environment that helps you learn quickly

Cons

As the title suggests, there’s very little opportunity to grow your career here, There hasn’t been a salary increase for almost a year. No matter how hard you work, it doesn’t make a difference—your efforts go unnoticed because your performance is judged based on other people’s failures. Anything starts with AI first now, if you are not morally inclined with that, that would be a problem.
