Pros

The people that the company hired are truly amazing. The work is fulfilling, with the initiatives we are working towards being a stewardship for the community and the planet.

Cons

Succession planning could be improved by proactively hiring positions that the company knows will be vacant due to retirements. It would increase efficiency and work standards if new employees could mentor with the retiree at least three months before they leave the company. This would allow for the critical knowledge the retiree has to be transferred in a real-time way, and would also provide the new employee with the tools to be successful.
