Pros

There are people who work these positions because they truly do care. I saw that with my own eyes. We had a nonverbal aggressive almost 300 pound who was a ward of the state about to transition out of the states custody while in limbo he came to us during Covid and we 3 night crew had to cramp up in the HOSPITAL because of what poor health he was in.we all got Covid came back to work and manned the ship so to speak befall we had were us. But ANYONE is expendable here

Cons

Well while everyone used their vacation and sick days I was going to be the last it was use it or lose it. I worked 7pm to 7am. I never missed a day w/o a dr excuse never had any problems issues or write ups. We had only one client. To keep the ship afloat we needed more. And YES there are profits non profit organizations are not all truly what you may think non profit is, look into that. As a matter of fact when I started working they had renamed the company for financial reasons. Anyhow I was due the next week for my vacation and I got hit with paperwork saying that I was being fired for “misuse of company time.” Yes ma’am I’m like in utter disbelief. At will state. No judge or jury of my peers for me. Just no job. *SNAP* like that. Even had all conversations and emails to this day. Went to DOL went to EEOC, nothing happened
