Pros
I've worked at places where design was essentially a cosmetic step after engineering had already built the thing. Increff treats UX as a genuine competitive input. I'm in product discovery sessions before a single line of code is written, conducting user research with enterprise clients, and influencing decisions that shape how the product actually feels to use. That's what design work is supposed to be, and finding it in a B2B SaaS company — where UX can sometimes be deprioritised — genuinely surprised me.
The team is small enough that every designer has significant ownership, but there's still a culture of critique and peer feedback that sharpens the craft. Engineering partners are respectful of design constraints and collaborative when tradeoffs are needed. I use Figma for everything, have access to real users for testing, and have shipped work I'm proud to put in my portfolio. Two years in, I'm still excited about the problems we're working on.
