Pros

Comprehensive Health Benefits Package 401k

Cons

Wildly incompetent management at nearly every level, coupled with rampant bullying and mobbing of those who pose some sort of perceived “threat.” Managers, senior managers, and directors collectively foster a culture that favors shameless self-promotion and connections over possessing the skill set necessary to perform the core functions of the role, leading to a never-ending cycle of failed initiatives. The level of toxicity is top-tier: blatant targeting and isolation of select employees cannot be understated. Indeed's culture is not within the range of normal and expected workplace politics - this was not my first job, far from it. Indeed is hands down the worst employer that I've ever worked for.

Pros

I loved the talented people I worked with; I appreciated being appreciated; I loved helping employers hire; and I really thought this would be the company I retired from.

Cons

The company culture changed significantly after it became publicly traded; I didn't particularly care for how they handled layoffs; they didn't always act on the feedback they received; and they were slow to jump on the AI train.
