      Pros

      Lots of varied industries. I have got to work in supermarkets, hotels, warehouses etc. Flexible shifts depends on how much I choose to work. Pay is the majority of the time is really good. Most places are very helpful in showing you what needs to be done. Some good opportunities to work in other big cities.

      Cons

      Retail shifts from supermarkets are being instantly selected with no chance of being able to pick them up Not as many shifts as few years ago.

      Provided income while working Easy to get started and begin assignments Opportunities for short-term work when needed

      Lack of respect toward workers Poor communication and unclear updates Job instability (assignments can end suddenly) Weak support when workers get sick or have issues Unclear or inconsistent attendance expectations Decisions feel automated and impersonal Little transparency around termination or assignment changes
