Pros

Working from home, nothing else. Monday to Friday, no bank holidays, average pay, own van (but the back is full of parts so you cannot even use it for anything), forget it if you have a family.

Cons

Long hours, no lunch break, no break at all. If you try to highlight any issue about the way they are managing your work, instead of listening to you and help you they just put someone on your neck to check how you work. You have to carry an ancient laptop in a case weight at least 15kg + backpack full of tools 20kg + parts. Running up and down in a block of flats, running to avoid the parking fines. You have to restart your laptop every 20 mins to see if they changed something on your route or you might find out when you get to the job that it is already cancelled. Planning has no communication at all, also they close their office twice a day, so it is very difficult to "plan" anything with them. You have to manage your own stock, visiting the storage twice a week, NOT in working hours of course!! If you have any issue with your van and it needs 3-4 hours to get it fixed, it is NOT happening in your working hours, after you sorted out you have to start your shift with 3-4 hours late. What they tell you on the recruitment day is a big fat lie! Also in the training centre! Your shift does not end when you park your van at your house at the end of the day....

Pros

From business point of view Indesit is a leading company in the industry sector, very dynamic, energetic, open-minded innovative company, encouraging for professional growth and task diversities. Definitely a good place to gain professional expertise. Thoughtful management, effective business practices.Unique corporate culture perfectly fits for those who aren’t to much of a discipline and enjoys working in family type atmosphere. From employee point of view Indesit brand is highly recognized and respected in Russia, so working for Indesit Company is a sound experience and sort of respectful “white color” work both from consumer and business partner point of view. Indesit provides high job security, good benefits and a lot of drive and experience in work

Cons

Indesit is definitely not among the top paying companies (both in home appliances sector and in consumer goods industry) and despite really good benefits, it is on average 30% below the market salary. Expatriates hold all the key positions and most of decision making. Taking into account flat hierarchy, opportunities for career growth are very limited (a promotion happens on average once 3-4 years).

Pros

Freedom to do your job as you see fit (within reason) no managers/supervisors breathing down your neck. The only time you get any "hassle" is when you start causing problems or drastically not hitting your targets (everyone has good and bad months) Well compensated for any extra work you do, generous bonus (13 months pay for 12 months work - this is part of your salery so it's g'teed) lots of holidays (up to 33 days, 25 as standard. commision and overtime always available at a very decent rate. If you perform well, career progression is available, competent, experienced, senior and technician pay levels. Further training on offer if and when it's needed. Some engineers don't like promoting products, 3/4 boxes of cleaner a week will see you smash the target.

Cons

its very very busy and call times can be very tight, especially if you find multiple faults and want to avoid a recall. 33/34/40 minutes per call depending on appliance.
