I joined this company in the midst of the pandemic. I left a good job for this company, but unfortunately, I did not look at the reviews because this is a startup.
In this company, I worked in the IT department and found out that most managers who have been at Indigo for 1+ years have not made any efforts to understand the business, departmental structure of the company, and their coworker's roles. Some of the IT members work as business and do not have the required knowledge and experience but are promoted as IT. The company wastes money in buying lots of redundant software, and the managers don't really care about this.
Managers do not encourage teamwork and want you to work in silo. Having more knowledge/expertise than your managers makes them think that you are being over smart and they will have a 1:1 meeting where they threaten you. They are also quick to take credit for other's work.
Your managers can change the org structure at any time, and if you raise a concern, a PIP will be used against you. You will be framed and put under frivolous PIPs, which are used generously. Complaints are treated as a 'personality clash' by the people team (HR).
Most companies have monthly or quarterly all-hands meetings, but Indigo has weekly all-hands meetings. There are constantly changing priorities and requirements. Job stability is in flux.
Favoritism (ex-colleagues from past companies/family members) is the norm of the company and you can survive without the skills if you are your manager's pet.
HR/company has responded to the comments on Glassdoor to take corrective action, but the toxic behavior of the management and HR still persists. If you have better options, please do not join this company.
