Pros
Professionally managed golf facility. Meaning, if the managers or workers are unethical, one can contact human resources for help. Free snacks from the pro-shop. Free golfing for employees. Human resources can save your life. When I felt harassed by management and contacted HR, they told the manager to back-off. When he didn't, that manager mysteriously and suddenly had to retire. My checks went from almost $400 down to $250 with no explanation why. I emailed HR and got a couple mysterious bonuses.
Cons
They pay minimum wadge. Very likely to be part-time hours. In my case, less than part-time. The culture is golf-ish. If you're not a golfer, you probably will not fit in with the staff. Very strict on being on time; that's the culture of golf, be on time for your T-time. Discipline is heavy here. They write you up for anything at anytime. You must sign and date these documents whether you agree with them or not. Not a diverse work staff. Can't depend on a set schedule. Some have to close the business - leaving at 9pm and then open the park the next day at 5am. Keep in mind some position require constant running and lifting.
