Pros
As the title suggest, InfinityQS is a good company to join straight out of college to get exposure and experience that you can leverage to move to another company. Additionally, you may find opportunities to jump into roles you're not necessarily qualified for, which can be helpful if you're looking to re-align your career in a more promising path. The workplace culture used to be great, though the company has sense moved to remote work permanently, which really negated a lot of the positives that this company had (Friday lunches, snacks, and good conversation).
Cons
Despite being 30+ years old, InfinityQS is a low revenue company meaning compensation will be well below market average. A coworker of mine jumped ship to a nearby company who literally doubled his salary. The legacy product they offer is actually quite good, and one of the best on the market. However, their new product Enact was poorly designed due to a major disconnect between the designers (management) and what the customers actually want. Naturally, sales have been atrocious for this product and there's absolutely no accountability from those who designed the application, only projections of their frustration on the rest of the workforce. Frankly, the senior management team needs to be re-assessed and re-structured. There are too many people, with too few things to do, and very little experience & knowledge. Additionally, micromanagement and bullying it wildly accepted at InfinityQS, and there are few departments who are immune to it (only development and accounting come to mind).
