Stay away unless you want to work for minimum wage - Field Representative Information Providers Employee Review

Pros

Work from home. Work when you want.

Cons

Company does not offer raises or cost of living adjustments, even after years with the company. You get paid a fee per house you look at. The fee is very low and you have to drive your own vehicle. You pay for your own gas. You have to use your personal cell phone to call the home owner. You will make more money flipping burgers or panhandling. Company does not care about you.

Pros

The inspection work itself has a clear purpose. Field forms and training materials can be useful for learning insurance survey expectations, property photo documentation, and underwriting observation basics.

Cons

Poor management communication, limited contractor support, inconsistent expectations, unclear system access handling, and an abrupt termination process. Contractors should document assignments, login issues, payment questions, and status changes in writing.
