There is absolutely no communication in this call center at all. No one knows what is happening and because "business needs" are made up every 4 weeks or so, there is NO stability. I was there for 8 months and had 6 different managers! This leaves absolutely no room for you to grow professionally because youre constantly changing and learning new things and you never get to get solid or confident in your position. They give you PTO but force you to use it when you call out and you can not have time off approved to be without pay for drs appointments and other life events. Even when you call out sick and bring a doctors note you are still given an occurrence point AND they use your PTO. Ive never worked for a place that forced you to use PTO and you couldnt just request off for life events and health reasons. You also can roll over some PTO a year but since it is gifted to you not accrued you dont get cashed out for whats rolled over when you quit. And PTO has to be approved even if you submit it and they put PTO freezes out throughout the year. This is the highest volume call center Ive ever worked in, and ive worked for 3. When I first started as an IHA agent i was making up to 300 calls a day!! thats ridiculous. Theres no work life balance in this company and you cant even get to know the person in the desk next to you because youre only allowed 6 exact minutes of personal time a day, thats including bathroom breaks that you arent taking on your scheduled breaks and lunches. Also the most laughable thing i think was the christmas party at the nashville office. They let us off the phone for 2 or 3 hours, had the party in the lobby of the building, didnt have alcohol and fed us nothing but potatoes and chicken. It was the saddest xmas party ever and Ive never worked for a company that made us be on the clock for a company event like that. I can literally go on and on about how this was the worst job I've ever had but I suggest you just turn the other way and go work for Asurion or any other call center but this one.
