      Good work-life balance with 45 days of holiday and 2 days of home office per week. Good working and research climate.

      Cons

      Lower salary than in an industry job. It is difficult to get permanent contracts. The maximum time as a postdoc is 6 years.

      Pros

      INRIA Rhone-Alpes has a great research atmosphere in a unique location in the heart of the French alps. The facilities are great, and there is people from all over the world, that you can get to know in the coffee break, baby foot or table tennis. It also offers you an incredible work/life balance. But the best thing is that you get to collaborate on cutting-edge research.
