Pros

Everyone is really young and fun, there many company outings and happy hours. Since the company has such a fun environment, it makes for a great first job as a transition out of college. They only promote from within.

Cons

My first 2 weeks there, 11 people quit who had worked there over a year, both recruiters and account managers. It's very misleading when they say the average time to get promoted is 6 months. You think if you do everything they tell you in 6 months you'll be promoted, wrong. The base salary is only about 30k depending on locations and you only get 1% commision, which gave me an extra 15-20 bucks each week. For working 60+ hours a week, it's definitely not worth the long days, and all of the stress. Of my training class of about 35, 4 have been promoted after 9 months and I can only realistically see them promoting another 3-4 before everyone quits. This company doesn't fire anyone unless you do something extremely inappropriate.. they just drag you along until you finally hate it and want to quit. Also, you get 8 PTO days a year, but you technically don't get any until after 6 months with the company, then you earn 4. They make you feel extremely guilty, almost as if it would affect your promotion to take 1 day off so no one ever does unless they're interviewing elsewhere.

Pros

The individual contributors and the endless amounts of budget for campaigns tools and resources. A great place for marketing creatives looking to do just that, create.

Cons

Leadership served themselves, not their team. There's 0 structure with no marketing KPI measurement or revenue attribution to show the ROI. Everyone always seemed so busy but nothing was getting done to show the impact marketing had on the businesses bottom line. Not many wanted to do the work to build the department to any potential, half of marketing doesn't even work under marketing which promotes vast misalignment. Just resources begging to be used and a bleeding advertising budget. It has a ton of potential, but I watched the few who could have changed it all leave over the frustrations of leaders only concerned with their own self preservation.
