Pros

Hard to come by pros, but they have a functioning app and believe in meditation and what it stands for. Not sure if it's the right mission with the right intention though.

Cons

If you value your career, mental health or your time don't waste it here in this toxic and terrible environment. The glassdoor reviews are very clearly fake, the hour expectation is beyond ridiculous, the CEO has an incredibly engorged ego that really is not in the slightest bit justified or respectable. Employees are viewed as nothing more than a number. This company is ruining livelihoods without a single bit of remorse. Employees are given a false sense of hope by hiring them into what seems like a good career move and then slapping them with a redundancy, because they believe decisions should be made with a strategy in mind to push the business towards a larger goal to better the business rather than basing them off personal wants/gains or ego inflation. It's not fair for people who need to provide for families to leave secure roles at other companies where they are more appreciated to come to this hell hole where it's a 'my way or the highway' approach. I really cannot advise people to stay away from this company enough.

Pros

Really lovely coworkers. An incredible product that users love and which is changing lives.

Cons

Not too many. At times seems a little bit slow-moving for a startup.

Pros

Only company that has recipricated the effort, dedication and sweat equity I put into it on equal level. This is not an easy feat to accomplish as my devotion to my choosen field of work is exceptionally high. It's very much a group of people that mirror that ideals of its chief. High character, talented and compassionate people that have no time for politics and "I above you" attitudes. This results in a working environment of trust and empowerment with the result being progress at speeds that can only exist when done this way and with no compromise to your core values. As a company it practices (internally) what it preaches (externally).

Cons

It would be difficult for anyone to come from any other situation to this at first. It is unlike anything else I've experienced in the last almost two decades of working in support and cs. We define ourselves by what we have done and how we did it. To work successfully at Insight Timer you need to let go of how you did things before and in some cases how you think they should be done. The speed of change can be difficult to keep up with when you are not somewhat involved in it either directly or tangentially but this is acknowledged, understood and is continuing to improve.
