Pros

It really connect you with a lot of students out there.

Cons

Here I could say thousands of things, but I will be briefly on these few: 1- first of all, if you are a parent, don't let your kids use this company, because they don't really care about if your children learn or not, they only care to charge you the highest amount they can on your credit card. Also, one thing you will realize is the fact that students can sign in into the website just putting their email, therefore, they are mislead to InstaEdu concept and most of them believe that this service is free, once they are inside, they been told to sign up. Well, guess what, even your kids might be trying to just get the homework done by someone abroad or here in the U.S and not learning anything at all, which is a waste of money for you. 2- If you are a tutor, come on, give yourself a break and go for others companies such as Eduboard, InstaEdu treat the tutors like a piece of you know what guys. These people didn't care at all that you came from Harvard, Yale or Oxford, as soon they see that you have 4 negative feedback they will try their way to kick you out of the game, it doesn't matter if you have 1000 positive feedback they don't really care. Even worse, this company is so " abusive and unethical" that if 2 students say something negative about you, they don't even call you as an employee and discuss the matter, they just threat you saying that they will fire you. Come on!! don't they see the key point here? all these tutors comes from good schools, many of them from Ivy League school and they threat them like they are talking with unskilled workers in some random place on earth. The only reason why this company are not getting sue every single month is just because they really shield themselves on any liabilities with their employees. But trust me guys, it could be now or later, one these two things will happen to Instaedu in the near future. Someone will find out a solid case against this company and take them to court or company such as Eduboard will dominate their market share and put them out of business.

Pros

1. Pay. $20/hr beats all other online tutoring companies 2. They have voice chat. That makes online tutoring much nicer. 3. Prompt pay. You tutor someone for an hour, they send $20 to your WePay account 1 day later. 4. Browser based classroom. No external software to download. Classroom is very nice too 5. Better caliber of student. When you do get a student, it's one who has been paying attention in class and participates in the session. Far unlike students who use other online tutoring services.

Cons

1. Suspiciously low session frequency. I get about 1 session per week, but I am logged on 3+ hours per night. That doesn't add up. 2. Students who have not purchased tutoring time have the ability to directly IM the tutors. This simply should not be. Most of these students want to be tutored for free, which defeats the purpose. 3. Unbelieveable claims by other tutors just to get more sessions. Most of InstaEDU's tutors are college students, yet they claim to be able to tutor 20+ subjects. It hurts the site's credibility. 4. A Facebook account is required to be a tutor. Makes InstaEdu look unprofessional.
