Pros

Salaries are competitive Cooperative junior and senior staff Good opportunities to grow for junior staff

Cons

- Pretty few Growing opportunities for senior staff to become managers. - Working experience years for Instiglio is less important than a master. - The leading Partners are too self-centred, and they diminish the work of junior and senior staff. If you don't do the things they will do, they will make you feel terrible, they will change all the work but won't teach you anything from the errors. - Performance is not evaluated under goals but from subjective thoughts of the people you work with. Therefore, you will receive good or bad reviews depending on whether you choose your friends to evaluate you or not.

We are sorry to learn that your perception has been that Instiglio has not offered enough opportunities to grow into the management positions and that the organization has rewarded other aspects such as having a master's degree over contributions and performance. The performance review system we have put together is meant to be performance- and contributions-driven, and over the last year, we have made significant changes to improve its effectiveness to grow and develop our staff. We are consistently iterating on the system, and your feedback may be a signal that we can do a better job at communicating how we have improved it, and how as an employee you can contribute to continuing to improve it. Pros

- Great exposure to international development agencies and international opportunities. - Young, diverse, and passionate team. Everyone is very intelligent and friendly. Great if you want to speak several languages in a single day. - If you show you are competent and have a high sense of ownership, you will be able to contribute a lot, they will give you ownership / space to suggest what you think is best. - Great diversity of projects, so the job is never the same (not monotonous).

Cons

- Sometimes you will work 10 or 12-hour days. - Sometimes you don't get to choose the projects you will be working on.

Pros

Instiglio is on the cutting edge of innovative finance for development - fast-paced, high-performance, growth and learning oriented culture - environment focused on taking initiative, opportunity for growth if you demonstrate high performance.

Cons

A fast paced environment means that the work is fast paced as well. During times of peak work, this can mean pulling long hours. Don't expect this to be a 9-5 job.
