Pros
Hours and flexibility are great. Normal 8am-4pm with my current broker and if you need extra hours you can get them but as long as you work your 40 and you do what you’re suppose to do the job and your broker will reward you. I’ve also been told if you want to do something else (different job position within the company) the management is extremely flexible and will allow you to “give it a shot” if your skill set makes sense for a different job position which is really awesome. Pretty lax environment with really positive and encouraging staff, I’ve loved my experience here so far.
Cons
Biggest gripe for me personally is the inability to work from home full time. This job is extremely easy for me personally and I get done with the main part of the job relatively early in the day which leaves me a lot of free time (sounds good right?) but while at the office if you don’t have loads to book or check calls to do or AR stuff you’re left to just chill..? I know I’m making it sound not that bad and truly it isn’t but having said this when I do get the chance to work from home (if I’m sick or something) I feel extremely productive because I can get other stuff done at home.
