Pros

Pay. Flexible time scheduling. Free phone

Cons

If you lack expertise in an area do not expect any support. I had never worked on a python project and expected at least a little support to begin. I was just told to google anything I didn't know on one of my first days there. I told the company in the interview process that I was excited to work on AWS and they told me they were glad to hear it. I never once touched AWS other than updating a few Terraform scripts. I talked to HR and they said don't be afraid to ask for help. When I did, I was just told to look it up. Terrible atmosphere.

Pros

The ambition and drive during my time at Intelygenz has continuously improved. Delivery has always been a strength and Vision is getting stronger everyday with a solid strategy. The quality of engineers is a privilege to work with and represent.

Cons

Nothing is perfect of course. Sales and marketing is something that is less mature than the engineering heritage but is being actively managed for improvement.

Pros

- It's cool to say you work for a tech start up in SF - Flexible schedule - Little to no micromanaging

Cons

- Some of the projects sound cool, but rarely do they come to fruition so there's a constant sense of let down - COO does not communicate clearly, does not foster trust - Not a lot of faith in the company being around so people don't stay, lots of people jumping ship - VERY low salary compared to even small tech start ups - Benefits are expensive
