Pros
I felt I developed hugely during my time at IN. I had the opportunity to put my previous experience to good use, but I was also encouraged to take on new areas of work and gain new skills in the process. The team was very friendly, and my managers were very supportive, and always available if I wanted a chat. I felt comfortable speaking to them when I had any issues, and they were immediately responsive in addressing these. The game I worked on was a very unique title, and it was great to work on something where excellence was so highly valued. I felt comfortable seeking feedback on my work, and the feedback I received was invariably insightful and productive. Overall a very positive experience.
Cons
Remote working created some barriers to collaboration/social opportunities. It was a shame not to get to know people whose work didn't overlap with my own. Deadlines could sometimes be tough to meet and triggered some overtime, but they were very on top of tracking this, and making sure you received TOIL.
