Pros
Owners/"upper" management like to "play work" when it's convenient, so it's not very hard to get your own work done without being bothered very often.
Cons
Lack of respect from owners/"upper" management. No room for advancement, no raises/increases, very little time off, all holidays are work days. Then one day you'll get blindsided and let go without warning, even after dedicated work for 9 years. Reviews go like this: "keep doing what you're doing" until one day out of nowhere you get "we're going to cut to the chase, we're making some cuts and you're one of them". Also in the 9 years I was there the company made no actual effort to improve and grow the company itself, almost utilizing a "one day magical fairies will fall from the sky, and make everything better" business model. Very questionable business practices.
