Pros
-Work schedule outside of the plant is more relaxed & flexible. -Salaries are somewhat competitive with similar positions at other companies of the same product. -50% Employer Match up to 6% on 401K. -Pretty good Vacation & Holiday schedule. -European paid Maternity & Paternity leave of 8 weeks. 16 weeks if there are complications. -Annual Incentive bonus based on your employment level. -Offers health insurance coverage.
Cons
-Salaries are somewhat competitive with similar positions at other companies of the same product. Still 30%-60% behind the mark of what they should be based on the cost of the education required to obtain the job and the current costs of living. But that's pretty much the case everywhere no matter the product or the company. -50% Employer Match up to 6% on 401K. A base of 5% company investment regardless of the employee's contribution would be nice but doesn't exist. -The paid Maternity/Paternity leave ends up in a pro-rated Annual Incentive (A.I.) bonus reduction. -The Health Insurance Benefits are just as crappy as what everyone else offers. It's too expensive to have for basic checkups and eye exams. Save $6,000/year by skipping it and paying out of pocket.
